When you become a member of the Ulysses S. Grant Association, you aid important work to better illuminate not only Grant himself, but also a period in U. S. history when the country stood on the brink of the modern era, facing new and difficult challenges. Your generous help supplements federal funding and university support.
You can become a member of the Ulysses S. Grant Association for a tax-deductible contribution (one-time or annual). Membership entitles you to a 25% discount on the 32-volume The Papers of Ulysses S. Grant and on The Personal Memoirs of Julia Dent Grant, both published by Southern Illinois University Press.
In addition, you will receive a substantial discount on registration for the USGA's annual meetings, held in April or May. These gatherings are intended to acknowledge the contributions of our members and to foster a community of interest in Grant's life and times. The Association has met in a variety of cities and studied and toured to gain greater insight into important aspects of the life of Ulysses S. Grant.
