Social Studies Teachers Summer Institute

The purpose of the Institute is to assist history/social studies educators in teaching the relevancy of the Civil War to students of the 21st century. The Institute offers teachers a broad spectrum of lectures by accomplished Civil War scholars, plus on-site visits to Shiloh, Corinth, Jackson, and Vicksburg. Applications will be accepted from public, private, and home-school teachers.
